Duration: 10-12 hours

Who Should Attend:

DBAs, PL/SQL Developers, Oracle Goldengate Admin, Technologists responsible for data replication, High availability technologists.
Salient Features:
Implementation and configuration of the Oracle Golden Gate Veridata

Objective:
The objective of this training is to explain the fundamental concepts of Oracle GoldenGate Veridata used for comparing and verifying data. At the end of this training, the participants are expected to have Veridata knowledge and will be able to start working on live projects.
Environment:
Version: Oracle 12c GoldenGate Veridata
Platform: UNIX / Any flavor of LinuxGoldenGate/12c
Database: Oracle 12.1.2.0.1 multitenant Architecture
a) Oracle 12c Database server
b) Two instances of Oracle GoldenGate

What Is Oracle Goldengate Veridata:

➢ Oracle GoldenGate Veridata compares one set of data to another and identifies data that is out of synchronization.

➢ Oracle GoldenGate Veridata supports high-volume, 24×7 replication environments where downtime to compare data sets is not an option.

➢ By accounting for data that is being replicated while a comparison takes place, Oracle GoldenGate Veridata can run concurrently with data transactions and replication, while still producing an accurate comparison report. ➢ Oracle GoldenGate Veridata will map column data types across different types of databases automatically, or you can map columns manually in cases where the automatic mapping is not sufficient to accommodate format differences in a heterogeneous environment.
