Problem :
We have observed below error in dgmgrl :
DGMGRL> show database prim

ORA-16855: transport lag has exceeded specified threshold

DGMGRL> show configuration

prdby – Physical standby database
prim – Physical standby database
Warning: ORA-16809: multiple warnings detected for the member
Fast-Start Failover: DISABLED
Solution :
1.Check for the delaymin parametr:DGMGRL> show database verbose prim DelayMins DelayMins = ‘0’2. Change the value to a higher value
DGMGRL> edit database prim set property DelayMins=15; Property “delaymins” updated DGMGRL>3. Now check again:
DGMGRL> show database prim Database – prim Role: PHYSICAL STANDBY Intended State: APPLY-ON Transport Lag: 0 seconds (computed 0 seconds ago) Apply Lag: 0 seconds (computed 0 seconds ago) Average Apply Rate: 502.00 KByte/s Real Time Query: ON Instance(s): prim Database Status: SUCCESS
